Our first experence at BUCA Dedham Ma was not so good. We were seated by the hostest and then waited and waited. Finaly after quite a bit of time a very nice young man by the name of Kevin took our order. My firends saled came our byt I waited and waited for my soup. My egg plant was like rubber it seems as if it it has been cooked in advance and then heated in a mocrowave oven. if so a sad mistake. Been to Buca several times. Last time the food was terrible and I said I would not go back. Last night we gave it another try since we had company from out of state and they had never been to a Buca before. The food was back to being wonderful but the waitress we had acted like we were taking up "her" time. When I asked her a question she gave me the look of death and was very sharp in her so called answer. Don't know if I'll be back again or not. Oh yes, when I called to make reservations I was put on hold for over 15 minutes and was just about to hang up when a young polite girl answered the phone. - Gene - posted 26 months ago

Easter dinner at Buca was just "OK"...
It was only the third time I was there, and NOW I remember why we haven't been back in over a year!!
I think that the menu is a little confusing!! You almost always have to buy more food than you really need or want... which really jacks the bill up!! :((
We are vegan, so we had the choice of one thing only. At least they do have whole wheat penne and vegan tomato sauce. not very exciting, but the salad and breushetta were good!!
The waitress was VERY GOOD and kept checking back on us!! She was the best part of our visit!!

DINNED AT THE FLORIDA MALL BUCA IN ORLANDO AND REALLY ENJOYED OURSELVES. THE SERVER NAMED FELIX IS STRAIGHT OUT OF NEW YORK WHICH ADDS TO THE DINING EXPERIENCE. This time we picked up takeout at Buca for a mini family reunion dinner. As usual, the food, the linguini de mare pasta and apple gongonzola salad lived up to expectations. My wife and I ordered the small eggplant parmigian and were very pleased at the quality of the meal, especially compared to other similar plates at Italian restaurants. My boyfriend & I were in the Worcester area. We very much enjoy great food, service & such. I have personally been in the hospitality business for quite some time.
That said... I was psyched to finally visit your restaurant. Being in the business, maybe i have higher expectations. We both felt that the atmosphere was superb! The service however was less than... well, what you may expect at a fast food resturaunt.
We arrived @ 3:00pm, not many people in the venue. Sort of the "lull" time of the day. We were sat at a table where the AC was, lets say, a bit too much. It was a bit RAW that day. Once moved to a warmer table...thought all was well.
I "serve" professionally., so maybe, my standards are a bit higher than others.
When we arrived, after relocating to a warmer booth, I ordered a $33 bottle of Shiraz. When brought to the table, it had a "screw top". Also the ONLY SHIRAZ on the menu, that we seen. Seriously, a screw top?... AT $33.00? I am more than happy to pay for great service, atmosphere,& food.
Also I know that sometimes things just go wrong.
Four different parties arrived (AFTER WE DID) drank,had dinner,(some dessert) & paid the bill,before my man & i got our wine, Caesar salad, or meal.
I have NEVER sent an email/message complaining @ service. But this was over the top. Every time we looked at our waitress,she was obviously, more concerned @ the local gossip.
My soul mate wanted to bring me to your place, as he has just moved back from traveling the country.He swore that Bucco di Beppo has unbelievable entrees.I was psyched. Being in the business for so long, maybe I have higher standards, but i REALLY was sadly disappointed. I ordered the chicken stuffed w prosciutto. My pasta was super dry, sauce (gravy) as if it came out of a can. Had to remind & ask "server" numerous times for salad.
Again, this is the 1st & only time I hav ever taken the time to express my dissappointment to ANY resturaunt. But I feel compelled to let you know. I have no quams w paying good $ for great meals & great service. We,people in the biz, work hard for our $. Guess we would of appreciated, at the least, an appology. Again, four or more parties (4-7people/party)came & went before we were served.
I have been a patron through all of the changing of hands at your shrwesbury location. I value the hospitality biz. Thank you for reading this.I dont enjoy spreading negativity, suppose i was just SO dissappointed. Enough to actually send you an email.
Our waitress did not seem to care, whatsoever, how our dining experience was.
Your location is great, the atmosphere is more than stimulating. Dean Martin singing in the background... AWESOME!!!(always play the "RAT PACK")when I'm cooking.
Couln't stop thinkng of how I would, personally,make changes.
ok, i'll let you get back to whatever you were doing. Thank you for taking the time... if you have, to read my super long memo.

Wefrequently dine at Buca and have always been happy when dining alone or with guest. However, we had an uncomfortable visit a few days ago. We had a $l0 promo
from our last visit's survey; it stated "$10 off any entree
OR pasta purchase..." We had lunch and had two entrees--
chicken saltimbocca and linguini frutta di mare and a salad.
I gave the promo code to the waitress when the check arrived. She said she was sorry it had to be dinner entrees; the check survey info says entrees OR pasta; we had entrees! Not satisfied, we asked to speak to the
manager who still could not understant that it states ANY ENTREE. He begrudgingly gave us the $l0 discount, but we were made to feel that we were asking for something special not getting just what was written--ANY ENTREE.
We would like a response from a Buca rep higher up than the

Our son took us his parent's out to eat at Buca's one night. It was our first time every eating there. Infact I never even heard of the restrant before that night. But I have to say we are all three hooked.

Great new fall selection
chicken marsala is still the best especially on Monday nights when you get the pasta for free, makes the whole meal very affordable
