Ok, found out! I called the # on the back of the new Am. Express Card. He told me that once you activate, you are automatically registered. Now for your own verification, please call them. I told him about all the comments and he said that he is making a hard copy note about this issue & confusion over the registration. If they get enough of these, then this will be clarified to everyone! Please call that # on the back of your card, so this can be noted by everyone who has had this same situation & trouble.
Thank you for posting all these for further investigation on this confusion!

According to the above comments, no one reads these anyway so are forced to use the phone.?? - Judith Casey - posted 34 months ago

Took advice fom Sue, called, wasted way over an hour with no result. Still agree with Sue if enough folks call there should be some action.

Agree with ALL the above comments. Notable companies like American Express and Macy's should NOT be having this amateurish problem...shame, shame, shame. Nordstrom's is looking pretty good rght now :)

I, too, am here at the site and going WASSUP?? Does this signal a change in our relationship with Macys because of AMEX's ways of doing business? Uh-oh, for us. Hmmmm. Maybe I need to get that recent offer (0% APR for x months and balance transfer on a new card) out of the trash and reconsider..... - Joanne - posted 34 months ago

I also am very confused. No place to register as instructed.
Glenda - Glenda Armstrong - posted 34 months ago

I called. The website has been down for 1 1/2 hrs. Then I asked the rep to register me and she said that she couldn't do it due to privy stuff. She said that the website sb up in half an hr. Of course, she apologized. Hey, it's Saturday Nite! - Jesse The Couponer - posted 34 months ago

This is so frustrating. I agree with all of the other comments. How do I register???????? - Beverly - posted 34 months ago

tHIS IS A JOKE. i CALLED THE CUST. SERVICE AND THEY CAN'T HELP BECAUSE THEY INSIST YOU HAVE TO REGISTER ON THIS SITE. i HAVE WASTED ENOUGHT TIME ON THEM. THEY CAN KEEP THEIR CARD. UNHAPPY IN INDIANA - - posted 34 months ago

Is this a joke or is Macys becomming a complacent company now.? Please tell us a correct way to register for the dining 15% credit. - Larry Fairchild - posted 34 months ago

I have tried in vain to access the proper registration form for the 15% credit. This is not the first time I've tried, but it will be the last. Customer service was notified that this did not work, but they recommended that I try again. What is going on? Contact me. Also, read the above comments - I'm sure you don't want to lose your customer base. I'm afraid that I won't be using your card unless this is corrected. - Patricia Pellegrino - posted 34 months ago

I am trying to register, however there is no link. I called customer service (Gene) and he's trying to connect me to someone who can help me. However while waiting he comes on the line to ask for more information. - Jas - posted 34 months ago

Very stupid, my friend told me she did it online but how? - cshell7200@aol.com - posted 34 months ago

can't register the card on this web site.whats the deal? I bet there isn't a problem taking our money. - Sharon - posted 34 months ago

Should we waste all of our time to get a maximum of $25:00 credit. I don't think so, do you?
Using Costco's American Express is much easier. No registration, no call, just spend and get the credit. - lan - posted 34 months ago

I tried to register for the 15% credit but there is no site for it very disappointed why offer it and then we can't even register - Oscar Ornelas Sr. - posted 34 months ago

Bait & switch for sure - - posted 34 months ago

Same as all above. Where do you register, and how do you know you're registered? It's stupid to tell people to register and then have nothing available at the site. - Irene Strausberg - posted 34 months ago

Nowhere to sign up for the 15% discount. Saw the past comments, are you ever going to fix this????? - Agnes Spalding - posted 34 months ago

Just spoke with your customer rep. who told me my computer is at fault. REALLY???? Forget it! - Agnes Spalding - posted 34 months ago

Unable to register. Can't you make it more simplier. - Jose Reyes - posted 34 months ago

I CAN'T REGISTER EITHER, CONFUSING AND RIDICULOUS, THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED, I THINK MANY COMPANIES DO THIS. VERY SAD! I MAY TRY AGAIN LATER BUT IT SOUNDS LIKE CALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A WASTE OF TIME. - LUANN - posted 34 months ago

this puts you in a bad light. it's suppose to be about you being honest and upfront. well, i guess where there is money there will always be larceny. the more money you make, the more money you want...sad but true! - - posted 34 months ago

VERY CONFUSING - NO PLACE TO REGISTER - ly - posted 34 months ago

I like the others above cannot find a place to register. I wanted to use my card Thursday to take a friend to lunch. Too bad i guess I will have to use my Citi card. - JoAnn - posted 34 months ago

I agree with you all that this is stupid for credit card companys to do. I have had the same problem with ARCO card. Every time I try to activate the card, the page turns to error, try again later. I have already tried about a dozen times. I don't think I will even mess with this one. Thanks for all the warnings! - sandee davis - posted 34 months ago

So true, no place to register, what is the deal??? - Mary L - posted 34 months ago
