I love to go to Shaws, You have everything I want now that you have organic foods. Your prices are right, and the help is pleasant and courteous. You do listen - I complained in store about girls with their hair in their face hanging over my food - I see that has changed.

It's too hard to find the total on your receipts - subtotals in different departments are printed in bold type, and savings are printed in bold type, but the total amount paid is not in bold type and is located betwwn the bold department entry and the total savings amount. I am a regular Shaw's shopper. I keep going back because you double my coupons; you have BOGO and if I forget a coupon, I can redeem it the next week with my receipt. Oh, yeah, and since I buy gas occasionally, every cent off my gas goes to the next week's grocery. Smaller store here in Hyannis, Love it, but many items not here because of space.. So I go to the larger store(Shaws) further away if I need something specific. Love the coupons (mail) .In the smaller store,some items are sold out or back so far on the shelf I grab the next tallest person I can find for help in retrieving it !..

Shaw's Supervisor's are so special here in Biddeford, ME!!
Jeanette, Pam, Susan, and Jeff always strive to go the extra mile for true customer satisfaction. Rick in Produce also works hard to please each and every customer.

I feel that , yes, Shaw's overall prices are slightly high, but excellent weekly sales certainly bring in the customers.

I will always consder Shaw's first for needed items.

PS - I just heard a rumor that the Market Basket chain is trying to get in to TWO (now empty)stores, side by side, in the Biddeford Crossing retail shopping area. I hope its just a rumor, at least. Keep up the great sales. - Paul Sullivan Jr. - posted 34 months ago

A while ago, I asked the manager to remove the television sets at the checkouts. He said it was storewide policy to use them but he'd register my request. They are gone (aren't they?). So he listened. I like the staff at the Eastern Ave Shaw's in Gloucester. It seems as if some shoppers are returning after a flight to the new Market-Basket. My family uses the gas savings card to partially offset the higher prices at Shaw's. I like all the whole foods products at Shaw's. I love shopping at Shaw's. The stores are clean and employees courteous, friendly and efficient. The only beef I have is the 7 gallon milk special promo. I was supposed to buy six and get the seventh gallon free but three days after the sale started it was canceled.

I wish there was the option of smaller carts.It is especially hard to unload from the bottom of the big cart at the cashiers.

I like shopping at Shaws because the food is great,prices are reasonable,product selection is remarkable, the store is very clean, and the associate are very friendly and helpful. I had worked at Shaws while I was in college.
