My family and I eat at Panda in Surprise,Az. on a regular basis, as well as people from my job. Yesterday, August 25th, my husband and I stopped for lunch. My husband and I always get chow mein,beeef and broccoli, and sweet and sour pork. We were told by the manager that panda is not going to have sweet and sour pork anymore and they were discontinuing it and bringing in some other new beef dish.
ARE YOU PEOPLE INSANE!!!!!
Almost everyone that was in the restaurant at the time thought this was crazy too.
I do not eat chicken or any type of fish, so that means now I will have to eat just the beef dishes, and that will get a little old.
I'm sure that somewhere some corporate person thinks not enough revenue is coming in from this product, without really checking out what sells the best in each area.I used to work in a deli/bakery, and corporate used to do the same thing to us. Each store should be allowed to decide what sells the best, and maybe be able to survey customers from their store as to what they would like to see stay on the menu.
What a shame!
All though we have always enjoyed eating at Panda, it might be time to look for a new place for lunch and dinner.

My husband and I stopped by your new location in Gilroy,California this evening. We tried your honey walnut shrimp and it was delicious, not too much breading and the sauce was perfect, we also had green beans with chicken and your house chow mein....everything was delicious! I am a regular customer of your location in Truckee, CA. On the whole, my experience has been very good. However, the last purchase (last night) was too highly seasoned with soy to be as enjoyable as it usually is. I will try again and, hopefully, the problem will have been resolved. We eat out to Panda quite abit. They just opened up one near us in Oregon City, OR. but the service wasnt that great and I got the order to go and they forgot my potstickers. We normally go over across to Wilsonville. They always have fresh yummy food and this week they gave me the potstickers for free since the other store forgot!! My wife & I have eaten at several different locations, the last being the Lakewood Towne Center one. My survey code is 1230-1010-1613-2081 on 10/13/2010 at 1:00 p.m. The food was good, but one of the staff seemed to think she was doing us a favor by serving us. No smile - not friendly. And I feel frustration because I had to ask for the chili sauce and the soy sauce, and then was given two packets of each. I asked for more and did get them, but my suggestion is that these condiments be supplied at the tables for inside eating, and the packets be reserved for take-out only. These packets are hard to open and messy to use. It is a fight to open the chili packets, and the resulting spill has hit my clothing. I do not forsee the problem of theft of these condiments from the tables and there would be a minimum amount of clean-up and maintenance placing these on the tables. And personally, I would prefer that hot chili oil be offered as well. I feel like it is too much like a drive-in and not a restaurant. I am a relative of Ellen Guerzon and beleive me, my family and I went to one of your Panda Express Restaurant in the bay area(Contra Costa County) at Pleasant Hill,California and ate indoors,and my family just love your food dishes. My daughters favorite dish of food is your Orange Chicken and Kobari Beef,she says it is so delicious she can`t stop eating. Also she loves the HOT! SOUR SOUP TOO!

On my birthday,my mother brought me to Panda Express,in Tanforan Mall(FOOD COURT) in San Bruno,California. Amazing..there were friends,my teachers,and principal of my school present to join me celebrate my birthday. My husband and I go to your Panda Express on S. Broadway in Denver. The food is always good, especially the "Sweet Firecracker Chicken". The servers are always nice and the restaurant is always clean. We are always offered a sample of one of your entres.
All of our family enjoy your food, some go to the Panda in Lakewood ,Colorado...they also like the food and servers..Keep up the good work. Oh, and by the way, the prices are excellent!

We go to Panda Express at Wolf Ranch in Georgetown, TX. Love it!!!!!!!!! I usually get the orange chicken (double) and the noodles--which have the best flavor. Enjoy the food but the servings sizes are small and the help lacks in their people skills. Do they really think we don't see that they are giving us huge pieces of brocolli and a couple small pieces of beef. They skimp on the entrees and can't seem to keep from slopping it all over the plate. Come on, we're the ones keeping you in
